Intelligent Life is an innovative eLearning and in-person consultancy specialising in the concept, practice and application of Natural Intelligence. We are a trusted voice in the personal development and systems-change space. We care deeply about individual responsibility and each of our contributions to collective outcomes.  â€‹

 

We have built a bespoke learning platform and mapping tool with proprietary content, and anticipate launching later this year. Alongside the platform, we host in-person and online events, offer consultancy to organisations and conduct speaking engagements. Our customers are located worldwide, with the greatest concentrations in the US, Canada, UK and English-speaking countries. We are based in the UK with team members in the US and India.

Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Coordinator to work alongside our small team. This is an exciting role for a creative and socially-minded individual interested in working with a unique startup to create positive, systemic impact.

Beyond the strategies and tactics of traditional marketing, we are interested in thoughtful and nimble approaches that foster genuine connection and reciprocity with our audience. This is an opportunity to develop a truly creative brief for a unique company and offering. 

​

  1. Strategy: Create an authentic and “right-sized” marketing strategy for Intelligent Life to launch our platform, grow our audience and reinforce our brand. Manage the marketing budget. 
     

  2. Marketing: Create and coordinate compelling campaigns for Intelligent Life in alignment with the strategy, utilising social, email, newsletter, paid ads, etc. as appropriate.. 
     

  3. Website & Platform: Update and maintain the look and feel of our existing website. Liaise with our designer to implement changes. 
     

  4. Content Creation: Create varied content for outreach campaigns. Work with the Founder to translate her knowledge into high quality content.
     

  5. Grow Audience: We are looking to significantly increase our audience over the next 5 years–yet we want to grow in an organic, sustainable way with a priority on creating long-term relationships with our clients and customers. 
     

  6. Build Community: Identify organisations, initiatives, thought leaders, academics and scientists who might resonate with Intelligent Life’s work. Build toward the creation of an inspiring, thought-provoking and relevant online community.
     

  7. Brand & Communications: Ensure the Intelligent Life brand is current and clear across all communication points both internally and externally. Create and update marketing materials such as brochures, presentation decks and PR packs. Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns. Design and send our quarterly newsletter, keeping our audience informed, engaged and inspired.
     

  8. Customer Database: Keep our CRM system up to date, maximising customer engagement. Develop, keep track of and foster relationships with key stakeholders. Produce and present reports on progress. 

 

You will need to have experience with:
 

  • All areas outlined in the job description

  • Engaging copywriting

  • Managing a website, tech platform  and social channels

  • CRM

  • An avid news reader, up to date on emerging trends, discoveries and social/environmental issues

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
 

Working alongside our flexible team of people, you will be directly connected in the following ways: 
 

  • Intelligent Life Founder - you will ensure she knows when content is expected of her, capture content and upload relevant material she produces to the platform and social media. You will also provide summary updates on audience engagement levels and support programmes.

  • Curriculum Director - Along with our Founder, our curriculum director designs and oversees the development of curriculum and the whole Intelligent Life offering. The same services for our Founder apply here.

  • Designer - our in-house designer is responsible for building our website, newsletters, social and email campaigns as well as preparing content for dissemination. You will need to ensure that all marketing and content reaches her in an organised and timely way. 

  • Administrator - working together to maintain the CRM, organising events and communicating on incoming enquiries 

  • Financial Director - liaise to manage budgets and expenditure. 
     

DETAILS
 
  • You can be based anywhere in the world, and suitable days/hours can be negotiated, but must at least partially coincide with UK office hours (IL office hours are from 9.30am to 6.30pm GMT Monday to Friday). As we are an international team with a global audience, our meetings and events often fall outside of office times, so flexibility and adaptability is required. 

  • Initially part time (3 days week / 48 weeks per year) with transition to full time over the next 12-18 months. Part time contracts are treated as self-employed contractors and pay their own tax. There are currently no company benefits with this role.

  • £3,750 pcm (3 days a week) - please note payment is in GBP Sterling.
